I did not know anything about contemporary jewellery before I came to study at the AIVA. I was attracted by it at once when the course tutor made the introduction that I could convey my personal thinking and emotion through a piece of jewellery. It is amazing! I really like it ! I can start making something totally belong to myself. |

There are four big assessments and several on-course presentations during one-year study when you need to present your creative works to your supervisor, your peer students and potential clients in the future. It could be a bit hard for me at the beginning, but now it is no longer a problem. I can talk freely even before strangers. |

Chinese students have their own unique thinking patterns. If you can't speak good English, you may not fully communicate with other people and tell them about your works or ideas. AIVA's English courses really help me improve my English and my performance in English-language environment. |

In China, it is almost impossible to get into an art school without any previous background in art and design. So the one-year study in the AIVA actually opens a door for me. AIVA also offers the bridging course to help me smoothen the transformation from China to British educational mode. |
